Living the quiet life on Koh Libong 🌴 I’ve gone back and forth on how to describe Libong to you all, because for the right person it’s just perfection and I want the right people to find this island. A few years ago, we were eating at one of our favourite restaurants on koh lanta (it’s sadly closed now) and we were chatting to the owner. He told us he was from a little island called Koh Libong, and if we liked koh lanta we would love it there. We’d never even heard of it, but told him we’d go one day! There aren’t a lot of travel guides or posts about Libong, but once you get there you’ll see why. This is a sleepy, quiet island that gets a handful of tourists even in peak season. The busiest beach only had maybe 50 people on it for sunset? While Koh Mook had so many things to do (check yesterdays post for my top ones) - Koh Libong is for chilling out under palm trees, driving along empty roads to get to empty beaches.
