I’m just back from my third group tour of fhe Golden Triangle, and I’m awed by how much I love this country!
It’s especially surprising considering I rang home and cried when I first came here back in 2016 😂😂😂
The thing about India is that a lot of the things you hear about it are actually true. It’s noisy, it’s chaotic, you do see rubbish on the streets, often the way things are done don’t make sense to you, n and it takes at least three tries before you can get a straight answer to a question.
And on my first visit here, at least for the first week, that’s all I could see. I couldn’t see past how *different* things were from what I was used to back home. I kept trying to do things the way I thought was ‘the right way’ 🤦🏼♀️ - which is the mistake many people make when they first go to India.
The key to enjoying this country is LEAN IN! Don’t try to force things to be done the way you’re used to, let things not make sense for a little bit. Do things the Indian way and appr...
