A little ‘get ready with me’ Safari style! 🦁 Packing for this trip had me in a total head spin and I had no idea what I needed for our morning and afternoon game drives. So here’s what I ended up wearing every day! For reference, we were in ZimbabweBotswana and then maybe in August. Obviously weather in different Safari countries throughout the year will change, but morning and post sunset drives can get *cold* so layers tend to be a good idea for a lot of the year. My top tips are: • Layer up! it may be really cold when you leave your hotel, but within an hour or so the heat rises a lot. So where about three layers of clothes when you leave for a morning game drive. • similarly, go out with your bass layers on for an afternoon game drive and bring hoodies and long trousers for after the sunsets. • pack a hat!
