Star this if you’re off to Safari in Zimbabwe or Zambia! Nestled on the border of the two countries, overlooking the Zambezi river is this little gem of a restaurant called The Lookout Cafe 🫶🏻 It’s super busy, we couldn’t get lunch or dinner reservations for our entire stay so definitely book in advance. (Their WhatsApp is +263 71 404 2865 - that’s how we made the booking!) Not only do you get incredible views over the river and cliffs, but the zip line and canyon swing jump points are right by the cafe, so your meal is punctuated by screams from adventurous travellers swinging over the canyon! If you’re thinking of doing the swing or zip line, come here first if you want to see what it’s like (or don’t if you feel you might chicken out👌🏼) The Lookout is open from 8am to 9pm each day, seating for breakfast lunch & dinner.
