It’s almost 8 years since we quit the 9-5 life to travel the world, so I thought I’d share 8 important things I’ve learned along the way ❤️
1. Planning helps you discover hidden gems, but booking makes you rigid. Allow for spontaneity and flexibility with your plans and don’t book everything in advance.
2. The connections you make on the road are deeper than you can imagine, and the people you meet understand you on a level that others can’t understand 🫶🏻 if you’re feeling like you’ve not met your tribe yet, solo travel!
3. You need a lot less than you think you do. All the clutter and *stuff* that comes with a ‘settled’ life loses meaning, and you realise you need very little to be happy 😊
4. Travelling together makes your relationship more solid. We had to adjust to travelling together, and now we have such a great flow with travel that I hate doing it without him!
