I absolutely loveeeee so much about this project, but I had a completely different vision for this video. as you can see, I spent two weeks painting this mirror and you’re seeing it in 15 seconds. but even this short clip nearly didn’t happen. after hyping myself up, clearing out my camera roll, obsessing over iPhone camera settings, and meticulously marking my shooting area so I could make a match cut, my vision fell apart starting with the wind just straight up blowing away my markers and ending with me just straight up losing footage of me peeling off the stencils. not gonna lie, I definitely threw a tantrum about how the video wasn’t going to be “good enough” to post, because as a visual artist/video editor i like when things have a ~storyline~.
