Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you respond.
After feeling like my career was in a great place after the 2021-22 season, I went through a 3 year stretch where nothing went my way…two last place seasons, then a foot injury that required two surgeries and ended what should’ve been my final college season before it even started.
At that point, a lot of people would’ve given up or lowered the bar for their dreams. I’d be lying if I said those thoughts didn’t cross my mind at times.
But by the grace of God, I’m still here. With a new perspective, and more focused than ever.
Every setback was part of God’s plan, and each trial built me into who I am today.
This year, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to compete for a national championship with my new family at San Diego State.
Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing not just our journey this season, but who I am off the court as well.
