💙 This year at Big Slick, our families took a moment to honor someone truly special—George Wendt. You know him as Norm from Cheers, but to us, George was family—in every sense of the word. As the uncle of Big Slick host Jason Sudeikis, George and the Sudeikis family have been deeply involved in Big Slick since the very first event back in 2010. From that inaugural weekend (where we auctioned off his barstool...one of the very first Big Slick auction items) to his unforgettable appearance reprising Bill Swerski’s Superfans on our Big Slick stage last year, George brought heart, humor, and that unmistakable Chicago charm to every Big Slick moment.
