Bhavagyna Vegunta, a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student at San José State University, has gained hands-on experience through research and internships that refined her interests and technical expertise. Her passion for engineering was sparked in Dr. John Lee’s microfluidics research group, where she applied classroom knowledge to real-world applications. Currently interning at Tesla on the End-Of-Line Optimus actuators team, she is contributing to the development of Tesla’s Optimus humanoid robot.
