Clarence Choi is a first-year master’s student in Mechanical Engineering. He has a mindset rooted in curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, inspired by childhood moments with Legos and shows like Mythbusters. Clarence brought that same fascination into real-world projects with Spartan Racing. As treasurer, he played a pivotal role in building the SR-15, the team’s 2023–2024 car, which placed 5th nationally and 1st in California. From managing budgets and brake systems to mentoring teammates and improving documentation practices, Clarence’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to helping others grow. “I don’t know where I’ll be. I do know I want to work with a good team and take down whatever problems that get thrown at me,” he shares.
