Meet Ashlee, a trailblazer joining our 2025 Summer Intern team. Ashlee made history as the first Black woman editor-in-chief of The Crimson White at univofalabama, and she's continuing to break barriers in communications. Currently pursuing her Master's in Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management at udelaware, she brings both academic excellence and real-world experience from her work at MAASIN. When she's not changing the media landscape or studying nonprofit leadership, you'll find her mastering one of her five instruments! Her dream of leading communications at a major nonprofit or becoming a TV producer perfectly aligns with RISE's mission-driven work. We're honored to have such a talented communicator and history-maker on our team this summer! #RISEInterns2025 #Trailblazer #CommunicationsLeader #BlackExcellence #NonprofitLeadership #MediaMatters
