After one of the harder chapters of my life — testifying in a courtroom & recounting what no one should ever have to — I knew I needed somewhere quiet. Somewhere gentle; surrounded by nature. So my friend katie.gauntlett & I finally took the girls getaway we’d been dreaming of for years: a road trip to the Cotswolds. We escaped the London bustle, drove two hours into the countryside, & checked into thyme.england — a place that felt more akin to a botanical *poem* than a hotel. 🌿 The weekend felt like a big exhale. ☺️ Calming, rejuvenating, & safe like a home (it is, in fact, a home to the multi-generational family that has brought these historic buildings pack to life over the past couple decades).
