A bucket list Cape Town experience that far exceeded my expectations!! 🥹 The first time I ever saw a penguin in the wild was just last week, kayaking around the Cape Town waterfront at sunrise. Honestly they look a lot like ducks when they’re swimming hehe. But seeing them waddle around me in the sand, cuddle up in the shade to nap, and awkwardly bobble into the water to cool off was so outrageously cute. 🥰 My camera roll is now about 70% penguins & I’m not mad about it. 🐧 It also made me so happy to see these little guys have such a beautiful home that is protected by sanparks. 🇿🇦 The price of your ticket goes to supporting conservation efforts & it’s so worth it! ‼️ TIP: Visit early morning or late afternoon when the penguins are most active, and avoid September & October when they’re out feeding at sea. Of course, keep at a distance, leave no trace, and don’t try to feed the penguins… just chill & watch, I promise they’re plenty entertaining! Who has this on their Cape ...
