Last month I got to take my besties on a getaway to the paradise that is thesanubari, located on the southern coast of Sumba Island (which I personally think is one of the most beautiful islands in Indonesia… & only a 1.5-hour flight from Bali!). It was sort of a pre-bday celebration, sort of a “hey I’m back home in between travels and miss you” excuse to get quality time with my girls before I jetted off again… We laughed, cried, watched sunsets in the sand, swam in the ocean with horses, drove scooters around the island, and poured our hearts out to each other in a messy kind of way that only sisters do… We celebrated one another’s wins & held space for the sadness that comes with disappointments. We had cozy movie nights in our pretty ocean-front villa and ordered room service because we hardly ever wanted to leave that pool. We took a bazillion photos & not once wore a pair of shoes. 😊 What a magical place with two of the most magical women I know. ✨ . . . #sumba #sumbaisla...
