I was working at Fox Hills Mall the day the Rodney King verdict came down. I still remember the eerie quiet. Someone yelled from one of the stores, “They police got off… not guilty!” A few hours later, I got on the 405 and it was empty—except for a handful of luxury cars flying by. I didn’t understand it at the time. Then I got home, turned on the news, and saw the city was on fire. Now, decades later, I’m watching it happen again in L.A. National Guard deployed, protests, panic, politics. Just sharing my thoughts. You don’t have to agree. But I hope it makes you think. #RaySaidIt #LARiots #NationalGuard #FromDistance #CivilRightsToday #ImmigrationProtests #PowerAndPolitics
