Big changes coming to how COVID vaccines in Alberta are handled. They'll still be provided for free to people in congregate living accommodations, people with underlying medical conditions, compromised immune systems, or Albertans on social programs (i.e. AISH, income supports, and individuals experiencing homelessness), however everyone else, including seniors, will need to pay for the full cost of the vaccine. The cost is still TBD. Also they will no longer be available via pharmacies.
