First, I want to say how grateful I am to stand before you today, wearing this jersey, representing not just the Toronto Argonauts but a journey—my journey—one that’s been shaped by challenges, triumphs, setbacks, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. 
When I look back at where I’ve come from, I see a young man who had dreams of greatness, who knew he had talent but had a lot to learn about what it means to truly be great.
