2023-2024 OEHL Hugh Mclean Cup champions 🏆 What better way to end off game 7 with an absolute nail bitter of a game. In their inaugural year, applekingshockey manage to win the Hugh McLean cup infront of over 700 fans in Meaford in the playoffs against the Milverton Four Wheel Drives. The Hugh McLean cup, which was last won in 1987 by the Cambridge Hornets. Now calls Thornbury its home The cup was created in the 1970s, honouring the late Hugh McLean. A long time NHL and OHA referee also spending time as OHA president, being one of the main minds on board to create the league.
