Who knew a chicken wrap could cause so much controversy? McDonald’s recently announced on X that the beloved snack wrap will be returning to the menu in July. Not even 24 hours later, Popeyes announced it would ALSO have chicken wraps on its menu this summer. Thus the beef began. Both brands have voicey social media accounts, so it wasn’t surprising that there was some drama. Popeyes took the first shot, memeing a long tweet from McDonald’s social media manager.
