We (our amazing crew) worked a full day yesterday and I didn’t realize it was also Father’s Day in the Czech Republic. The thing is, the Czech people are extremely FAMILY oriented; so, working on Father’s Day is a big deal! But, bear with me… this fantastically fun guy, Richie Sickler, our 1stAD blocks 2 and 4, (The Leader of the Band) started the tradition (along with the director, and the DP)of beginning the work day rewarding the MVP of the day. The award is called the Golden Fidorka and the winner wears a gold medal (actually chocolate) for the day. Each new winner has to choose the next day’s winner and so on. Well, the entire crew received this… from production. It’s deserved because they are truly a resilient, hardworking group.
