Gonna miss that voice🤍 The week I departed for Asian Champs, my amazing Lola passed. I wanted to share this sweet voicemail she left me years ago before a track meet. I loved hearing her simple advice of just trying your best and enjoying it. Sometimes I can overthink things, but it really is that simple! I think we all need that reminder. That first clip is me answering her call with a “kamusta po”, she didn’t even know I was competing at the time, we were always calling eachother and she wanted to see what I was up to lol. Grateful to have known such a strong and inspiring woman!🤍🇵🇭
