20 years ago today on June 7th, 2005, The White Stripes released their underrated masterpiece album Get Behind Me Satan. While mostly abandoning guitar and garage rock tones for acoustic piano, marimba, timpani and mandolin, the band created a dark and mysterious time capsule that was all recorded in Jack White's living room in Detroit.
