WELL OCCUPIED BOAT FIRE ON THE LONG ISLAND SOUND. 21 people (several injured) were rescued after a boat caught fire in the Bronx near Hart Island this evening. FDNY, NYPD, Coast Guard, Nassau County PD Marine and some north shore Nassau County 8th Battalion VFD’s as well as Westchester county responded after the boat was engulfed.
