Christian Petzold’s PHOENIX follows a woman, played by his frequent collaborator Nina Hoss, who undergoes significant reconstructive surgery to repair a serious facial injury after surviving a concentration camp. The film had its World Premiere at TIFF ‘14 and now returns for The TIFF Story in 50 Films. #TIFF50
