The Process AP Submission 1 I was bullied in school elementary school. Influencing me to create characters that go through similarly painful experiences and grow to overcome them as I did. My films explore growth through trauma and the mental process to overcome their journey’s pain. Showing a way people can become the best version of themself. Modern cinema emphasises realism- I reject realism. Through its rejection I create universes that may or may not mirror our world, but nevertheless facilitate a story the audience can feel. I use my films to help and inspire. Rejecting realism expands my storytelling tools, allowing greater audience impact.  2 The mind is accustomed to seeing one medium at a time. This is 2D. This is animation. This is film. Our mind creates a mental set on how to judge these art forms. I break reality and preset perceptions by blending these art forms.
