After a win what do players work on? 🤔
Last week my putter showed up in a MAJOR way, but my ball striking could have been better. Although my misses were serviceable, my tendency was to block my shots out to the right a bit. I felt stuck under the plane and I was having a lot of trouble squaring the club face at impact.
My coach keeps things very simple (something I’m so grateful for), and after sending him a couple videos he diagnosed that my left wrist was getting too bowed at the top of my swing. Think of the wrist being too “flat” or “rotating clockwise” too much. As a result, my club face was open and I needed extra movement and perfect timing to return to the ball in a square position. When my timing was late, I’d block the ball; and if my timing was early, I’d pull it.
