🎨 Meet our 2025 True Blue Fellow, Bimochan Pathak, and his project, Paribartan Ko Lagi Kala: Art for Change! ♻️ At just 17, Bimochan is leading a powerful movement from rural Nepal to reimagine waste not as a burden, but as a catalyst for creativity and change. Through Paribartan Ko Lagi Kala, he’s tackling the silent crisis of plastic pollution in Ward 8 of Shivapuri Rural Municipality where no formal waste management exists, and discarded plastic often ends up in rivers, soil, and even food systems. His project merges traditional craft with environmental action. By engaging local communities, especially youth and artisans Bimochan is reviving indigenous art forms to create upcycled works from plastic waste, while sparking conversations around pollution, microplastics, and sustainability.
