Sometimes, simply telling your kids the stove is hot isn’t enough. They have to feel the heat to know the truth. That’s tough to accept as a parent. It’s difficult to love someone, know they’re going to be hurt, & stand by to watch it happen. Can be a last resort, & still be necessary. Some lessons are only learned through experiences.
