The Sammies award ceremony last week was a celebration of all of the hard work our UC Santa Cruz student-athletes have put into their sports and their studies over the course of the year. This year, women’s soccer was honored to receive the Banana Slugs Team of the Year Award🏆👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 and saw 3 teammates be honored for their individual accomplishments this year in addition to recognizing 16 of our teammates as scholar athletes, and 8 of our teammates in the inaugural class of our student-athlete honor society.
