Joan Trumpauer Mulholland is a civil rights legend! She visited Howard University at the beginning of the year, reflecting on her first visit to Howard in 1960, when she was sent on a mission for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). Mulholland is also known for being the first white student to enroll in Tougaloo College, where she escorted Rev.
