I got to be a judge for the Fra’Mani Rise & Swine Breakfast Sandwich Competition. New Orleans showed up with 4 local bakeries selected out of 19 nationally. 🍳🔥 Here are 4 incredible bakeries in New Orleans: 🥐 Lagniappe Bakehouse – That Holy Trinity sandwich + incredible staff & cutest bakery vibe. I’ll be coming back for the gator claw pastry. 🍞 Levee Baking Co. – Fresh, hot, and layered with the dreamiest jam on their breakfast sammy. This got very high points on my scorecard. 🥓 Gracious Bakery – loved this spot. That’s how you do a summer breakfast sandwich. Their pepper jelly and pecans are savory, full of flavor. 🥪 Flour Moon @flourmoonbagels – I’ve never had a bad meal here. The Mazzatelli with Fra’Mani Salame Rosa, egg, pesto, provolone, arugula & honey. Sweet, spicy, and unforgettable.
