For decades, Corrie Svehla has worked to make graduation day special for others. Last month, it was his turn to cross the stage, earning his bachelor’s degree in hospitality, restaurant and tourism management. He hopes that what he learned through his hospitality degree will affirm the work he’s already been doing for nearly three decades at the university. As assistant director of special events, Corrie has worked on events like Admitted Student Day and Volleyball Day, among many others, and he's looking forward to making more memorable events for Huskers. "I think just the excitement of actually completing this degree, it'll be a huge weight off my shoulders too, because it's something I've always wanted to get done." #GoBigGrad
