This time we had a few moments of vivid dancing greens across the sky and over head. In total, the display went on for over an hour although most of it was fainter than it appears in these long exposure shots 📸 All of these were actually taken on iPhone which is just insane lol - ten years ago I feel like being able to do this as easily as we did was simply not possible. What I like about that is that it’s made capturing moments like this accessible to so many more people who don’t have to learn a ton of details about photography 👏 On iPhone, just set your night mode on, point up and click while holding still. (Also, there was a full moon towards the south providing some great light on us and the mountain/glacier) If you want it even better: - put phone on tripod - tap sky to focus - tap night mode and set to ‘max’ - set 3 second timer to reduce shak...
