The Urban Honey Bee Project (UHBP) kicked off National Pollinator Week with a honey extraction demonstration, featuring honey from the bees that live on top of the Kendeda Building. Georgia Tech’s campus is home to hundreds of thousands of honey bees, which are cared for and managed by the UHBP and the Beekeeping Club. The UHBP researches and builds educational programs focused on the impact of urban habitats on honey bees. 🐝 #WeCanDoThat #honeybees
