The Miners win! ⛏️ Sussex County (22-8) crushed the nyboulders (14-14), 10-1, on Squid Games Night at skylandsstadium, winning the series against their East Division rival. The Miners racked up 13 hits on the night, including two home runs, and extended their lead to seven games over New York. Right fielder Alec Sayre (pictured above; alec.sayre) powered the Miners with a 2-4 performance, scoring two runs and an RBI, including his first home run of the season—a solo blast in the bottom of the fifth inning. Starting pitcher Mike Reagan (4-0; mikereagss) was spectacular, allowing no earned runs and striking out eight en route to his fourth win.
