Last spring, I spent the day with Mariah Gladstone of indigikitchen while working on a project for glaciermt around Babb, in Western Montana. What started as just a scenic day near Glacier National Park turned into a powerful lesson. Mariah’s mission, to re-indigenize and decolonize diets, is rooted in reconnecting people with the land, and with the traditional foods that have nourished Indigenous communities for generations.
