As Pride fills the city with color and reflection, we’re honoring “Untitled”, 1989 by Felix Gonzalez-Torres, first presented by Public Art Fund in 1989 and again in 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary of the
#StonewallRiots.
This poignant billboard was, in the artist’s words, “a monument for a community that has been historically invisible.”
We celebrate the visibility, resilience, and joy of queer communities and the power of public art to hold space, memory, and movement. 🌈
