Class of 2025 graduate Jaiden Booe is committed to Kilgore Community College in Texas. “I picked Kilgore because I can still be close to my family,” Booe said. Booe was also accepted into Dodge City Community College in Kansas, but he said that staying close to home was important to him and that he wasn’t interested in the cold Kansas weather. Booe said that McCallum has prepared him well for the future because of the amazing community of students, teachers and coaches. “I’ve met a lot of cool people here and gotten to know more throughout my years here,” Booe said. “The people here really stood out to me.” He added that he particularly enjoyed Coach Searle’s class and Coach Honeycutt’s. Booe’s future goals are to maintain good grades and to earn his degree. “I’m looking forward to learning a new culture and meeting the new people I’ll be around for the next couple of years,” Booe said.
