Class of 2025 graduate Savannah Doerr will attend ACC in the fall. She’s excited for college because she will have more freedoms and opportunities. From her time at McCallum, Doerr was a part of the basketball program and was close with her teams. She hopes to meet with her friends from McCallum to play for fun.  “I’m going to miss all my underclassmen friends and some of my teachers.” Doerr says. “I am involved in basketball even though the season is over most of my friends revolve around that community and Iḿ going to miss the consistency of seeing them everyday. While Doerr is leaving the program, she aims to stay connected with her friends and the program. “In the future I want to visit the girls basketball games,” she said. “I’m excited to see their growth and be there for their last season like they were for mine.” Doerr will major in culinary entrepreneurship. “I am pursuing culinary, and I eventually want to have my own restaurant in Austin,” she said. “I want it to be so...
