Class of 2025 graduate Ava Weigand loves animals. That’s why when she got accepted to go to Colorado State University she knew it was the place for her with their animal sciences and zoology programs.  “I have always loved animals so much,” Weigand said. “Like possums, while some people tell me that I’m crazy, they are adorable to me.”   Weigand is not sure if she will be going into veterinary medicine or a different job that works with animals.  “I’m not sure if I will end up going into the veterinary side, because I may not be able to handle the gory side of it, but I’m going to try,” she said. When looking back on high school Weigand is going to miss her friends the most.
