Class of 2025 graduate Aydan Courtney plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin this fall to major in Psychology, with hopes of attending law school post-grad. Since he was little Courtney had dreams of attending the University of Texas. “I had picked UT because it was my first-choice school, and I’ve wanted to go there since I was a little kid,” Courtney said. Choosing his major was relatively easy knowing that he wanted to pursue something leading into law school, but he wasn’t quite sure where to start.  “I always knew I wanted to go into law, but I wasn’t sure how, and psychology seemed like an interesting way to get into people,” Courtney said. “Getting to know how the mind worked seemed like it would be helpful in law school.” From his time at McCallum, Courtney thinks that he has impacted through his work with theater, and the musicals he performed. “I’ve been in like 8 shows, at least at this point, and I think that’s a really fun way to connect with people and int...
