Senior Julia Rasp walks across the Burger Activity Center stage after receiving her high school diploma along with the rest of the Class of 2025 on May 30. Rasp says it hadn’t hit her that walking across the stage would be the last time she would be recognized as a McCallum Knight. “Honestly, it felt like I still wasn’t done yet,” Rasp said. “I don’t think it hit me much at that moment because I was so focused on not tripping.” Rasp commented that after exiting the stage, she realized she would be leaving behind some of her fellow McCallum Knights. “Right after I walked, I saw familiar faces like Mr. Winter and some of my friends and Ms. Nat, and I realized I wouldn’t really see them again.” On that same note, witnessing one of her best friends—Tegan Rutherford—delliver her salutatory speech really stuck out to Rasp. “Tegan has been my best friend for a few years now, and I care about her so much and was truly just so proud,” Rasp said. “ Also, I got to wave to her parents ri...
