READY FOR THE NEXT ADVENTURE: Meredith Miller, English and social studies teacher, leans on her desk as she begins to clean up her room at the end of the 2025 school year. With two years of being a Mac teacher under her belt, Miller is saying goodbye to McCallum at the end of the school year. “I love McCallum because I just love the people in general,” Miller said. Miller appreciates the opportunity she had to meet new, different kinds of students. “I think if you asked a lot of teachers this question, they would probably say the same thing,” she said. “I like that I get to interact with every type of student, and see what makes their mind tick, and what makes them motivated. This, in turn, motivates me as the teacher.” While the future is uncertain for Ms. Miller, she hopes to try something new in another state.
