LØLØ, Download Festival 2025 REVIEW: When was the last time you saw cheer practice take place at Donington Park? For LØLØ, there’s no time like the present to show this famous field something completely new, and during a brilliantly sassy rendition of ‘Debbie Downer’, she is teaching the masses before her how to show off their spirit the right way, with poms poms thrown out for all to look the part, too. Being this unapologetic really does come naturally to her, as all of her sugary sweet and savagely honest tales of life's little heart flutters and breaks demonstrate. But still, there’s that extra bit of pep in her step today. Clearly feeling inspired after seeing one of her favourite bands, Green Day, headline last night, the likes of the cheeky ‘u turn me on (but u give me depression)’ feel even bigger and bubblier than usual, her infectious personality shining through in technicolour.
