We kicked off our trip in beautiful Beaune with a private wine tasting and a wander through the local markets (the fresh produce and cheese alone are worth the visit). Then it was off to Dijon for an alfresco lunch and a quick mustard haul before ending the day in Puligny-Montrachet sipping the village’s iconic white wine and chatting casually with an 18th-generation winemaker over dinner. Pure magic.
The next day took us to Meursault and the stunning Château Meursault for another round of tastings, featuring Volnay, Beaune, and (of course) Meursault. A Michelin-star lunch in Gevrey-Chambertin followed, and then we hit the Route des Grands Crus, stopping to admire the legendary Romanée-Conti vines, which felt like standing on sacred ground for wine...
