Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass held a press conference Wednesday with mayors from 30 other communities to call for an end to the ICE raids happening under the Trump administration. “A week ago, everything was peaceful in Los Angeles. Things began to be difficult on Friday when raids took place,” Bass said Wednesday. The other mayors went on to describe other raids that have occurred in their cities and expressed their support for each other and calling for an end to the raids.
