The world’s first and Sweden’s only National City Park is turning 30 this year! 🎉 The Royal National City Park spans several islands 🏝️ and municipalities in the Stockholm area, including Djurgården, the Haga Park and the mini-archipelago of Fjäderholmarna. With an area of 27 square kilometres, it's almost eight times bigger than Central Park in New York. The park is home to: 🌸 800 species of flowering plants 🦜 100 bird species 🏰 4 royal palaces 🏛️ various museums Sweden's Royal National City Park is protected under the Swedish Environmental Code.
