Welcome, Alex Olivares (@alexolivares92), our Director of Performance and Sports Science! Alex will oversee and integrate all aspects of sports performance, including our strength conditioning and nutrition to optimize athlete health, safety, and performance. He will work closely with our coaching staff to develop and monitor programs for our elite platform.  Alex joins us with an impressive background! He was the first Academy Director of High Performance at Austin FC (2020–2024), where he built the High Performance department and its methodology, and was the Strength & Conditioning Coach at Atlético de Madrid (2017–2019). In late 2024, he stepped away from Austin FC to launch his own business, AA Performance (@doubleaperformance). He is the CEO and a Mentor at AA Performance, where he works with players to grow as athletes to help them reach their goals.
