Here’s how I trained around my quad dominance to focus on glute growth:
→ StairMaster (no handrails): activates glutes + core
→ Mat activation (bands + ankle weights): primes the glutes to fire before lifting
→ Hip abduction machine (drop sets): targets side glutes for shape + roundness
→ KAS glute bridges: isolates glutes at full hip extension without loading quads
→ Smith machine curtsey lunges: deep glute engagement with minimal quad drive
Every movement is intentional, slow, controlled, and designed to grow your glutes, not your thighs!
