UA alumnus J. Frank Barefield Jr.'s $35 million commitment comes with the college's new name: The J. Frank Barefield Jr. College of Arts and Sciences.
The college enrolls more than 9,000 students across 80 majors, minors, concentrations and graduate programs. It is the second college at UA to be named, following the Culverhouse College of Business.
